Centacare provides social services to Cairns and the wider region, particularly people who are vulnerable, disadvantaged or marginalised within our community. Our vision is for a healthy and connected community that reflects and supports the dignity, equality and participation of all people.
We aim to enable people to restore the balance in their lives through support, practical assistance and Christian care. In doing so, Centacare Cairns acknowledges the deep relationship of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to country and we further acknowledge and respect the traditional past and present custodians, the Gimuy Yidinji, Guru Gula Gung-Gand-ji, Yirri-jandi and the Kuku Yelangi people and their ancestral lands.
