Centacare is an organisation that exists to provide support and guidance to Cairns and the wider region, particularly to those who are vulnerable, disadvantaged or marginalised within our community. Our vision is for a healthy and connected community that reflects and supports the dignity, equality and participation of all people.
We aim to enable people to restore the balance in their lives through support, practical assistance and Christian care. In doing so, Centacare Cairns acknowledges the deep relationship of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to country and we further acknowledge and respect the traditional past and present owners, the Gimuy Yidinji, Guru Gula Gung-Gand-ji, Yirri-jandi and the Kuku Yelangi people and their ancestral lands.
Centacare Cairns services are explained within this site where you can learn more about our services and how to contact us for Counselling, Youth, Mental Health, Migrant, Emergency Relief, Employment Services and the Time Out Program along with other general information that may be of assistance to you.
Centacare Cairns is a service of the Roman Catholic Trust Corporation for the Diocese of Cairns.
